Meet The Team
Located on the northern edge of Monterey Bay, Santa Cruz is a California beach town that’s never lacking in culture. The warm climate, picturesque coastline, and surrounding Redwood forests make Santa Cruz one of the most unique location on the Golden Coast, but that’s just where the excitement begins.
Santa Cruz’ extensive network of bike lanes and bike paths provide endless opportunities for fun in the sun. The town center, situated around a clock tower, has walkable, tree-lined streets and a variety of boutique shopping, art galleries, and sidewalk performers.
The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is an 111 year old beachside amusement park that is still in operation with plenty of amusement attractions and food options for the whole family. Santa Cruz is home to several state parks and beaches, five community parks, and eighteen neighborhood parks. The beach town also boasts a number of cultural attractions, including Mission Santa Cruz, the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History, the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History, the Santa Cruz Art League, the Santa Cruz Surfing Museum, and the Tannery Arts Center.
Once home to legendary filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock, Scotts Valley is a city nestled in the Santa Cruz Mountains, just six miles north of Santa Cruz, California. Located within the area's majestic redwood forests, Scotts Valley is a quickly growing community full of fun and vitality. Once a stagecoach stop between San Jose and Santa Cruz, Scotts Valley’s 150 year old history is now portrayed in the historical murals around town. Nowadays, Silicon Valley commuter can expect a rather quick drive up Highway 17.
The city offers plenty of dining and activity options for weekend fun, including the popular Skypark, a public park with playgrounds, tennis, basketball, bocce, soccer fields, BBQ pits, and a walking path at the disposal of the community. Scotts Valley also has one of the highest rated school districts in California.
San Lorenzo Valley
Named after the river that spans from the Santa Cruz Mountains to the Monterey Bay, the San Lorenzo Valley is an area situated three miles north of Santa Cruz’ sandy beaches. Tucked away in a massive valley of California Redwood trees, the area is home to many sprouting small towns like Felton, Ben Lomond, Brookdale and Boulder Creek. San Lorenzo Valley offers unique mountain style homes that are full of character. The local scene offers various recreational attractions such as state parks, breweries, restaurants, and natural food stores, while Highway 9 provides a quick trip for Silicon Valley commuter.
Los Gatos Mountains
Acclaimed author John Steinbeck once wrote that his Los Gatos Mountain ranch was “so beautiful that often I am embarrassed to be living here.” Located on the edge of Los Gatos, the Los Gatos Mountains offer stunning mountain vistas with all the conveniences a city has to offer. Occupying the southwest corner of the Silicon Valley, Los Gatos rests in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains and maintains a mediterranean climate year round. Since the introduction of technology companies presence in the area, Los Gatos has seen its fair share of renovation since the early 2000s.
Los Gatos offers plenty of recreational activities such as mountain biking, road cycling, trail running, kayaking, and hiking to name a few. Residents enjoy a wide variety of leisure activities as well, including upscale shopping and exquisite dining just a short trip away.
